Single of the Day: Slowly Slowly “Pussy Makes the World Go Round” (2016)

Absolute tune. Slowly Slowly have done it again with new single, memorably titled, “Pussy Makes the World Go Round”. Featuring Tom Lanyon of CERES on this tune, “PMTWGR” highlights some great guitar work and that enticing punk rock delivery that for any 20-something, may evoke those angsty bands we were all listening to in high school during the early 2000’s.

The harmonies are another highlight on this one, matching up well with the persistent and slow building nature of the arrangement. It’s a song that grabs your attention from the onset and will have you playing it time and time again. We’ve upped their SoundCloud hit rate considerably today, there’s no doubt there.
